The discussions will be presented four times each year, in January, April, July and October. The topics will invariably include Web Design/SEO/Digital Marketing, Sales and Marketing, Leadership and Organizational Culture, Services from the Center for Entrepreneurship, Strategy and Execution, and Customer Service. Local experts in each topic will be assembled in a panel prepared to respond to questions from the audience.

Reading aloud is a long-standing social tradition. Historically, families often read together as a form of entertainment, and factory workers had books read to them as a way to relieve the tedium. Naperville Public Library is reaching out in that tradition with its Read Aloud Book Club for adults who wish to enjoy and explore the written word in this historical format. The book club is open to all adult readers, especially those who are learning English. Short stories will be read at a pace determined by the group.

This month, meet the sisters who captivated Alexander Hamilton as Leslie Goddard presents a first-person portrayal of Hamilton’s Women. In this living-history program, Goddard will introduce audience members to Hamilton’s wife, Elizabeth Hamilton, her charming and witty sister Angelica Schuyler Church, and her younger sister, high-spirited Peggy Schuyler van Rensselaer.

Genealogy: Field Trip to the Naperville Family History Center

Naperville’s Family History Center offers an abundance of resources for genealogy enthusiasts. Staff from the resource center will introduce resources available including: multiple newspaper archives, Alexander Street Press, Find My Past institution edition, World Vital Records, Historic Map Works, MyHeritage Library Edition, Puzzilla.org and trials of family tree-building software. The center has 8 computers. Bring a laptop to ensure access to the online content. Meet at the center located in the church just north of the intersection of Ogden Ave. and Naper Blvd., immediately north of the McDonald's.
