Intro to Programming Using Python for Teens - (NIC)

This is an introduction to programming using Python, a general purpose, object-oriented computer language used for standalone projects or scripting applications. Learn about variables, statements, mathematical operators and basic input/output. For teens ages 13 through 18-years-old. *Program requires advance registration with a fee and is limited to 10 participants.

This class has a non-refundable fee that must be paid at the time of registration. Registration is taken at the computer lab desks. Participants can transfer to another class with one week’s notice. If individuals cannot attend a class, please inform the computer lab staff so a customer on the waiting list may attend.

Bark for Books (NBL)

Furry reading partners return this summer. Kids entering 1st through 5th grades can get a free ticket to read with a Therapy/Canine Good Citizen dog and owner team starting at noon the day of the program. These special dogs are all ears for a story. Parents and siblings of readers are invited to meet the dogs after the day’s program. This program is presented in partnership with Naperville Area Humane Society, PAWSitive Therapy Troupe and Two Bostons.
