Bring a sack lunch at 12:30, the lecture begins at 1 p.m. As a musical entity, the Beatles have not existed for over 45 years, yet their story, personalities and most importantly, their music, continue to influence today’s culture and expectations of popular music. Using audio and visual content, Gary Wenstrup will demonstrate the arc of the Beatles career from their development in Liverpool, through Beatlemania, into their psychedelic phase and finally their dissolution.
