Author j. leigh bailey will break down the hows and whys of the important guideline, “show don’t tell,” and discuss situations in which it’s better to tell than to show. This session will provide tips to ensure readers experience the story through actions, thoughts, senses and feelings rather than through exposition, summarization and description. This workshop is in collaboration with the Windy City Romance Writers of America.
