Book Lover Bookmark Contest

Design an official Naperville Public Library children’s bookmark that shows the love of books and the Naperville Public Library children’s department! One winning design will be chosen per building. Winning bookmarks will be professionally printed and available in February. Entry forms available Nov. 18. Submissions due Jan. 8. Kindergarten through 5th grade.

8th Annual Gingerbread House Display

Make and decorate a gingerbread house as a family activity. Drop off gingerbread houses at any children’s department before 4 p.m. Dec. 7. Houses will be displayed through Dec.14 for the public to admire. Ribbons will be awarded to all entries. Entries must be picked up on Dec. 14.

Teen Winter Reading Contest

Teens in grades 6 – 12 are invited to participate in the Teen Winter Reading Contest. Simply read a book or listen to an audiobook, and then go to the teen page of the library’s website to submit the title and author. Participants will be entered in a drawing for a chance to win fun prizes. Teens can submit up to six titles.
